Chanette Bovell, LMSW, LP

Chanette Bovell is a Brooklyn native and empathetic clinician. She completed her academic studies at SUNY Empire State College (AA, 2014) & (BA, 2016), and Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work (MSW, 2024).

Chanette provides culturally attuned care to clients from diverse backgrounds, with a specialty serving the BIPOC population across community mental health, preventive family services, and juvenile justice settings. Chanette conducts comprehensive family assessments, develops safety plans, and manages court‑involved casework while coordinating multidisciplinary teams. 

Chanette has extensive experience supporting teenage mothers, domestic violence survivors, and youth with behavioral health/  substance‑use histories. In psychotherapy, she utilizes approaches such as trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, client‑centered, CBT, motivational interviewing, solution‑focused techniques, and family‑systems to promote safety, empowerment, and resilience among her clients.
