Chanette Bovell, LMSW, LP
Chanette Bovell is a Brooklyn native and empathetic clinician. She completed her academic studies at SUNY Empire State College (AA, 2014) & (BA, 2016), and Yeshiva Universityās Wurzweiler School of Social Work (MSW, 2024).
Chanette provides culturally attuned care to clients from diverse backgrounds, with a specialty serving the BIPOC population across community mental health, preventive family services, and juvenile justice settings. Chanette conducts comprehensive family assessments, develops safety plans, and manages courtāinvolved casework while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Chanette has extensive experience supporting teenage mothers, domestic violence survivors, and youth with behavioral health/ substanceāuse histories. In psychotherapy, she utilizes approaches such as traumaāinformed, strengthsābased, clientācentered, CBT, motivational interviewing, solutionāfocused techniques, and familyāsystems to promote safety, empowerment, and resilience among her clients.
