What Our Clients Are Saying

“Working with Kayla has helped me to better manage my depression and anxiety. She is intuitive, kind but firm. I feel both challenged to be better and give myself grace through our sessions. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Ever since I started seeing Kayla, I feel so much better. I can’t wait for our sessions, whether I’m happy to share some good news or if I’m feeling down and need to talk about something. I really like how she always ends our sessions with positive affirmations as they help me get through the tough times. Kayla has made a huge difference in my life, and I’m so grateful to have found her as my therapist.”

“Kayla is my first experience with a therapist and I can honestly say that she creates a safe environment for you to easily express your concerns. She always does her best to accommodate you to make sure you get your sessions in and hold you accountable. Working with her thus far has been a pleasure.”

“I told my parents that I felt like needed outside help for what I was going through. I was alone because I didn’t have anyone to talk to without feeling judged and even though I have a hard time opening up to people, with Kayla it was easy. After working with her for sometime now I have a different perspective of situations and overall my relationships with my family has gotten better as well as how I view myself. She is really supportive and genuinely invested in helping me achieve positive change.”

“ I have been in and out of therapy since I was in elementary school (and for context I will be 29 in December). So let’s just say I know a thing or two about the importance and the impact of therapy. I am also a proud daily advocate for people to attend and receive therapy and/or counseling. Which is why I am so happy to have found Kayla. I am proud to say I am literally one of Kayla’s day one clients. I have been working with her since 2020, prior to her opening her current practice. She has made such an impact on my life and has given me the tools, guidance, and help I have needed through a transitional time in my life. There is little Kayla doesn’t know about me at this point, however some topics and subjects she has helped me work through are: grief, family issues, work conflicts, navigating personal and professional relationships, as well as internal and external conflicts within myself. I prefer therapy that provides me with a space to just ramble rant scream and sometimes even cry openly and freely as well as provide strategies that I can implement into my life. Kayla continues to really hit all those boxes and has given me resources and guidance I will carry for a lifetime! I come with a lot of baggage and Kayla has handled each bag with love and care! I feel very grateful and lucky to have someone like her in my corner of the universe!”

“Therapy has been a very challenging journey for me. I say challenging because it showed me the type of person I am in good and bad ways. Therapy has also helped me challenge my emotions and things about myself I didn't know existed. From what I learned you have to be ready to talk about things you couldn't say to anyone and comfortable enough to share it. With the help from my therapist Kayla, I am growing and blossoming into a different woman that I still can’t believe I am becoming. I am truly grateful for the journey I am on with Kayla’s help. We have shared laughter and shed a couple of tears but at the end of the session I always feel like everything will be fine.”

“While my mental health journey has not been an easy one, having a therapist like Kayla has truly assisted in bettering my mental health experience. I was overly anxious, insecure and honestly scared of the world and what’s to come. Through therapy with Kayla, I’ve become a more open and less anxious person. Through usage of affirmations, delving deep into traumas, boundaries and more… Kayla’s skills have truly provided relief in the darkness that I’ve dealt with in my mental health journey my entire life. Therapy with Kayla has been a light in my darkness and helped me discover the stronger, lighter parts of myself.”

“This is my first time engaging in therapy, and I am grateful to have chosen the right person for my journey. Working with Kayla, I’ve experienced many positive changes within myself. She provides a valuable perspective, helps me unpack trauma, family issues, and relationships that I’ve often avoided. Kayla also encourages me to take accountability for my actions, fostering my growth for the future. I couldn’t ask for more respect and support in this process.”

“I’ve known Kayla since I was in 11th grade of high school. At the time many people around me including my mom thought it was best for me to start seeing a therapist. I’ve tried therapy before and never liked it, I used to think it was a waste of time, and that therapy was not for everyone. I’ve always struggled in being in tune with my emotions, and have a hard time being vulnerable. Kayla has done nothing but create a safe place for me to voice my thoughts and worries. I've always felt that my role was to suck it up and hold it in but with Kayla has been my outlet. I'm now a senior in college and I’ve seen the growth and I can happily and confidently say that part of that was thanks to Kayla. I’ve changed my perspective in believing that therapy was not for everyone; I think you just need to want the help and the right therapist that is going to meet you half way. Bad or good Kayla always listens and holds me accountable for my actions, which sometimes you don’t want to hear but it’s needed if you want to reflect and do better. She makes me want to do better and I hope everyone gets a Kayla in their lives!”
