Q Hailey, LMSW

Quanita Hailey, affectionately known as Q, is a devoted LMSW who merges her passion for faith and social work. Q is an accomplished alumna of Union Theological Seminary, where she earned her Master of Divinity with a focus on Womanist Queer Ethics in 2018. She also obtained a Master of Social Work from Touro College in 2024.

Currently, Q serves as a Staff Chaplain at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and works as a psychotherapist specializing in LGBTQ mental health and religious trauma

Q is a proud alumna of the Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) under the Council on Social Work Education and the recipient of their 2024 Emerging Scholar Award. She also serves on the board of the MFP Council. Additionally, Q is the founder of the Trailblazers of Color Leadership Conference at Mount Holyoke College and is an elected committee member of the Community and Belonging committee for the alumni association. She is also the creator of Spirit Fragrances, a business that produces eco-friendly home fragrances.

Q integrates CBT, Internal Family Systems, and Psychodynamic approaches to provide personalized and effective support for her clients.
